Pete Zaluzec 

Pete Zaluzec received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Art Institute of Chicago.

His awards for his work include Best In World, Miniatures three consecutive years at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art. Pete’s work has been selected nine times for the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum’s Birds In Art. Kestrel On Mouse is in their permanent collection. His work has also been exhibited at: The Southeastern Wildlife Exhibition, The Waterfowl Festival & The Bennington Center for the Arts. Bateleur Eagle received The Elliot Liskin Memorial Award and was also chosen for a special exhibition of the Society of Animal Artists ART AND THE ANIMAL 40TH ANNIVERSARY held at the National Geographic Society in Washington. The piece Bee-Eaters won the Award of Excellence, The Evelyn & Peter Haller Award and the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum purchase award at the 2004 Society of Animal Artists Exhibition.

His work can be seen at the Horizons Art Gallery Jackson, Wyoming, the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art in Salisbury Maryland, The Robert T. Wright Community Art Gallery Grayslake, Illinois and the Niemi Sculpture Gallery and Garden Kenosha, Wisconsin and Fine Line Design Gallery in Door County Wisconsin.
