EXHIBIT I

Martha Fieber, Ed Lazzeroni, and Sherri Thomas
Artist Reception: Saturday, May 23th, 4-6:30 pm

Artist Demonstration: TBD

Exhibit runs May 22th - July 6th

“Summer Serenity” - 24”x36” - Oil

Oil painter Sherri Thomas creates expressive oil paintings that blend rich color palettes with expressive layered textures.  Her work often explores themes of emotion, memory and the subtle beauty found in everyday moments. She is deeply inspired by her direct observation of nature, often working en plein air to capture the changing light, color, and atmosphere of the landscape.

"Hitachi Field" - 8"x10 " - Hand Embroidery

Fiber artist Martha Fieber uses layer upon layer of hand-stitching, subtle color, and plenty of intricate details to create her complex compositions, which she titles “Landscapes in Thread.” To her, these landscapes express a connection to the outside world, and encourage the viewer to contemplate the ongoing interconnectedness of all things. Working with single strands of silk, rayon, and hand-dyed cotton threads as well as four types of stitches, Fieber seeks to achieve a depth and perspective to her work, which echoes her feeling that there are several layers to everything we see in the world.

“Urban Scape” - 32”x48” - Aluminum/Acrylic

Ed Lazzeroni - Through skilled fabrication and an artistic sensitivity to form, mixed media artist Ed Lazzeroni creates both sculptures and paintings that feel both grounded and unexpectedly dynamic.   Working mostly in metal, he treats the surfaces with etching, grinding, burnishing,  and torching techniques then enhances them with acrylic paint which allows each piece to evolve into styles of  abstraction, figurative and landscape subjects.

EXHIBIT II

Pamela Murphy and Pamela Wattenmaker
Artist Reception: Thursday, July 9th, 4-6:30 pm

Exhibit runs July 9th - August 10th

"Wythe’s Geraniums" - 28"x32" - Oil on Canvas

Door County artist Pamela Murphy’s work has long been focused on the artist’s collection of old photographs, whose figures she chooses as the basis for her paintings. “The people whose lives are recorded in those pictures are strangers to us—yet at the same time, there’s a familiarity,” she says. “They remind us of ourselves, our families, and our issues—on levels that are both personal and cultural.” Murphy presents her figures on rich and textured surface, with many layers of paint to reveal the history of the canvas and isolate the form of each figure. “The viewer can then bring their own specific history to the painting, so a single image can mean different things to different people,” she says. “The goal is for the viewer to find a little of themselves in the work.”

First Up - Mixed Media - 30”x40”

Pamela Wattenmaker - oil paintings are richly layered with texture and subtle tonal shifts that evoke a quiet sense of depth and atmosphere. Her work often explores organic forms and fluid compositions, blending abstraction with hints of natural landscapes or botanical elements. Through a refined use of color and movement, she creates pieces that feel both contemplative and visually immersive.

"On the Eve” - 22”x 22” - Acrylic Collage

Bonnie Paruch creates expressive pastel artworks that celebrate color, texture, and the natural world. Her compositions often highlight vibrant landscapes and floral subjects, rendered with a confident, painterly touch that brings energy and movement to each piece. Through rich layers of pigment and a keen sense of design, Paruch’s work invites viewers to experience a sense of warmth, joy, and connection to her subjects.

Alberta Marana creates luminous pastel works that capture the subtle interplay of light, color, and atmosphere. Her compositions often blend soft, layered textures with confident mark-making, resulting in scenes that feel both delicate and dynamic. Through her intuitive use of the medium, Marana evokes a sense of calm and quiet reflection, inviting viewers to linger within each piece.
