Paul Klein finds his inspiration in nature, be it century old buildings, his backyard, nearby forests, or the shores of our Inland Seas. Working out of his home in Amherst Junction, WI, Klein believes that natures' treasures or "local exotics", as he calls them, can be found everywhere. He enjoys combining many elements such as stone, copper, and his own handmade papers with wood to create his works of art. His art ranges from sculptural table and floor lamps, to mirrors and candle holders. The spontaneity of finding objects in nature and incorporating them into an intricate piece is a freedom that Klein enjoys and portrays in each of his pieces of art.
