Mogenson Studio
Mogensen Studio is the mother-daughter team of Dottie Dracos and Lara Mogensen located on a small farm in Ellensburg, Washington. Dottie started making her ceramic creations while living near the Gulf Coast in Florida in 1994, and there discovered her distinct colorful, and playful style. Lara has joined with her mother to bring new colorways, and styles to the playful creations.
The team has always had a love for animals, nature, and art, and has been making ceramic creations (as well as painting, gold-smithing, gardening, and even making cheese) for over 25 years. The team brings their lighthearted nature to their work, incorporating modern design with a large helping of whimsy to bring you a truly unique piece of art that is sure to make you smile!
All our ceramic pieces are made from double fired white earthenware clay (to approximately 2000 degrees F), with a colorful underglaze color scheme, and glossy glaze finish. All pieces are made ready to hang, and carry our signature on each piece.
