Erwin Lewandowski
Erwin P. Lewandowski is an award-winning national artist who specializes in creating realistic waterscape + landscape drawings. He is a graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Central Michigan University and maintains a studio/residence along the shoreline of Thunder Bay in Northern Michigan.
As an artist, he's managed to fine a comfortable blend and balance for his artistic skills, styles of artwork, subjects of interest, medium preferences and business goals. His choice of mediums include colored pencils {Lightfast quality], pigment ink liners and graphite pencils. All of his work is created on high quality Strathmore 400 Series Bristol. Working within 3 distinct styles [Contemporary Realism, Hyperrealism and the Abstract in Realism] of art plays an important role in his efforts to create artwork that is unique in style, meticulously rendered in detail and visually appealing in form, content and composition.
He is a two-time Best in Drawing winner from the International Guild of Realism and has the rare position of achieving Signature and/or Master Status with pencil organizations in Australia, Canada, United States and United Kingdom. His artwork has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, juried competitions, art trade publications, television, on social media and with over 30 galleries throughout the United States.
