Fine Line Designs Gallery in scenic Door County features original paintings, sculpture, custom wood furnishings, along with stone, metal, wood and glass sculpture and fiber art deep in color and texture. Unique, original gifts and collectible artworks are found indoors and out. Located on Ephraim's north end, the gallery exhibits the work of more than 90 renowned artists.

STEVE LANGENECKER

Growing up in rural Wisconsin near the Horicon Marsh, Steve naturally began to paint the fields, woods, and marshes with special focus on the birds and animals that inhabited them. After receiving a BFA in Fine Art, Steve did an internship at the Milwaukee Public Museum where he had access to huge rooms filled with taxidermied birds and animals that he could study and paint. His view of "wildlife art" changed profoundly after viewing the international exhibit "BIRDS IN ART" at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau and he was lucky to be juried into this show on his first try at 19. Steve continues to paint daily in his studio in Waukesha.

Gallery reception for local artist Ram Rojas with a performance by  Milwaukee's premiere swing band, Swing Nouveau.  The 15 piece big band orchestra will swing your socks off with danceable, high-energy, jump & swing tunes of the 30 ’s, 40 ’s, 50's, & 90's.  Hors de oeuvres catered by Alexander’s of Door County. Tickets are $50 per person with all the proceeds benefiting The Door County Land Trust.  Reception and concert, 5-8pm. Advanced tickets available

Jewelry Trunk Show - July 19th

Barbara Bosco presents a variety of jewelry unlike any other.  Her one of a kind pieces are hand-crafted from the winged jewels of Mother Nature….butterfly wings and moths.  All objects she uses are naturally expired, and the jewelry she creates shows a symbolism of rebirth and regeneration. Her jewelry is set in sterling silver or 14k gold and are considered fantastic jewels of natures.

Door County Plein Air Festival July 22nd, 11-2pm

The gallery will host artists Tom Maakestad, Lori Beringer, Diane Arenberg, Ann Powell and others as they demonstrate and paint onsite. Luncheon hors d’oeuvres served. Free and open to the public.
