OIL

36 x 48

$6800.00

This large scale abstract landscape painting was inspired by a camping trip to Colorado and Warner Lake Campground, in Utah, a 9200 foot elevation, 20 camp sites in an aspen grove. Birch trees and aspen trees both feature white bark and medium green leaves. Birch trees symbolize new beginnings, cleansing of the past and vision quests. Used by Native American Indians as the center pole in yurts an tee pees, the center must start fresh the process of gathering, shelter, and all other representations of home. Aspen trees symbolize determination, and overcoming fears and doubts. As well as a symbol for the strength of community. Since individual aspens live about 100 years old. An aspen tree reproduces by sprouting shoots from their roots which allows them to grow in a cohesive grove. A grove is a single living organism that can reach several thousand years in age which is astonishing. There are many reasons to decorate with an abstract landscape original oil painting you add grace and elegance to your home and give your guests something to admire and appreciate.
