Richard Patt is one of Wisconsin's most celebrated artists.  Now in his 36th year as a fine art painter, Mr. Patt largely draws his subject matter from the rural Wisconsin landscape. A native of Wisconsin, he worked for three decades in the medium of watercolor; but for the last six years he has been painting almost exclusively with acrylic paints, often in large, dramatic formats.  This new path of painting has attracted yet another wave of admirers and collectors.

Mr. Patt's paintings have been on exhibition nationally in such important American art centers as Santa Fe, Scottsdale, New York City, Chicago, and Door County, Wisconsin. His annual exhibition at the Winter Art Festival at the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace in downtown Madison the second weekend of November has been a very successful.
