I am intrigued with color, light & patterning.  I enjoy combining traditional oil painting technique to contemporary and classical composition. 

My use of intricate patterning in fabric has been my trademark style for many years.  I feel patterning lends itself to a sophistication I seek within my paintings.

My figurative works are about the connection of relationships, weather human-to-human, or human to bird (nature), it’s the gaze, the stance or the touch between each that is significant. 

Still life’s are composed to invoke in the viewer the gentle beauty & abundance that nature has to offer.

My typical palette of rich hues, classic patterning and warm light are intended to assist in balancing the composition into a harmonious picture.
