I try to be very honest in my art, concentrating on draftsmanship, values, edges, temperature, and color.  Quite often, when I paint portraits or landscapes, I work with a limited palette of four colors.  This not only allows me to mix colors, but keeps me very aware of temperature changes.

Art is a continual learning experience for me.
